The Stories I Love to Tell

I write emotion-heavy contemporary YA and adult romance set in small towns, where love, family, and big feelings collide. My stories follow characters as they grow, stumble, and face the moments that change everything. That same love for character growth and emotional resonance also shapes how I read for other writers.

Middle of Nowhere

Asa is used to packing up and starting over. Evie is desperate to leave their small town behind. In Briar, two cousins with opposite plans collide—one learning how to let people in, the other racing toward a future that might not be what she thinks she wants.

Everything Is Alright

It’s summer in Briar, and Evie is stuck between minimum-wage shifts, a distant boyfriend, and a dad with a new girlfriend. When her best friend Johnny comes back to town, nothing feels the way it used to. Across town, Asa is determined to finally have a good summer—until a rumor turns everyone against her and forces her to face the girl she used to be.

“Such a great follow-up to the first book! Evie and Asa are compelling characters and I enjoyed having another chance to follow their lives and development. I left this book feeling full of joy just as I did the first time around.”
