My Story
I fell in love with reading in elementary school with Sweet Valley and The Baby-Sitters Club, and I started scrawling my own stories not long after. Storytelling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I’m still a voracious reader across a wide range of genres, and I’ve never really stopped being interested in what makes a story work, what pulls a reader in, what makes them care, and what pulls them out of a book.
I attended Johns Hopkins University, where I earned my Master of Arts in Communications and fell in love with storytelling all over again through digital media and audience engagement.
While writing my first book, I began learning the beta reading process and started paying closer attention to the gap between how a story feels to write and how it actually reads for someone experiencing it for the first time. That curiosity eventually evolved into beta reading, where I help writers understand how their stories are actually landing on the page. I focus on clarity, emotional impact, pacing, and the reader experience so you can see your manuscript through fresh eyes and refine it with intention.
